El Cancho (English)
El Cancho Villa and Poolside houses are set in sub tropical gardens nestled into the hillside of La Peña. This is arguably one of the most beautiful spots along the Costa De La Luz.
This special location is just 15 minutes walk from Tarifa’s beautiful sandy beaches, and the famous Hurricane Hotel.
The immediate surrounding countryside is a birdwatchers paradise, and guests have direct access to paths and tracks for walking and biking.
The expansive views from the garden take in Tarifas beaches, the town and then Africa. On a clear day you can see the Port of Tangier and even the houses and windmills along the Moroccan coastline.
Kitesurfers and windsurfers just need to step outside to check out the wind direction, and which kite or sail to take to the beach.
El Cancho is just 10 minutes drive to the centre of town with its main supermarket numerous surf shops and a variety of restaurants.
When the Poniente is blowing through the winter months the multicoloured shoreline of kites is a spectacle in itself, with every beach available to kitesurfers and windsurfers alike
The levante is still predominantly a windsurfers wind due to its extreme nature. The main pack congregate at the beaches of Punta Paloma, Spin Out and Valedevaqueros.
